North Farm boasts a location that few can beat. A private track leads down a gentle slope to the nearby beach [where the family beach hut can be booked out for the day.] ½ mile further along the coast path, stands the sea-facing ruins of once mighty Dunstanburgh Castle. ¼ mile down the road from the farm, the village of Embleton boasts inns and local heritage trails and a fine links golf course. Alnwick Castle, just a 15 minute drive, is the seat of the Percy Family, Dukes of Northumberland for 700 years, now best known as Britain’s most exciting gardeners!

At Alnwick, both the A1 and the East Coast Main Line will take you to days out that are almost as vibrant and exciting – an hour to Edinburgh and 45 minutes to the North’s capital of culture, leisure and pleasure – Newcastle-Gateshead.

In short, North Farm will offer opportunities for experiences no one else can beat – whether you come to escape, or to make discoveries, next year you can do either, or both!
